Fontana teaser video

Postby Tim Comeau on Mon Mar 06, 2006 5:01 pm

This is a 30 minute video (get some snacks and a drink now!) of the NASA race last year at Fontana. Great, world class track and facility! If you're only thinking of attending, watch this and see what fun you'll miss if you don't!
NOTE: No, the contact with the Honda in turn 5 was not my fault as admitted by the other driver and the NASA officials! I had rights to the turn, but still tried to back out to avoid contact.

Nah, not really any wilder than any others. Still no cash to win!
You're welcome for the video! It's my hope that it brings more people to the Cal Fest of Speed.

Looks like just a love-tap. I have to compliment you on your timing, though. Your "gentle nudging" put the Honda in a smooth spin, and out of your way. Wait: I think I hear NASCAR taping at your door! :surr:

Nice video. Brings back memories.......

It was the gentlest of contacts....I tried like hell to get out of the way of his "driving mistake" , but just couldn't do it. You can see me braking more, turning more, clutch in, crap! We could have gone through that turn side by side........
Neither of us were mad at the other. He just rotated around the full width of my front bumper and I grabbed 2nd gear and got back up to speed as quickly as possible. I absolutely hate to touch cars when road racing. It always costs time, if not money! TABOO!
