Little Help needed (looking for wheels)

Postby Brad Roberts on Tue Mar 07, 2006 7:43 pm

Hey gang!

I'm looking for a complete set of 996 wheels:

18x8 and 18x10

Trying to locate some before this weekend.

Williing to pay *more* than fair market value for a decent straight set.

Help me.

OK. Still looking for some 996 wheels. The Rennlist wheels were for a 944 Turbo. Not sure if they will fit properly or not. I would rather not take the chance.

Where do people buy stock used wheels in this area?

I didnt know how valuable it was to have PartsHeaven 45 minutes from my house in the SF Bay Area. Run down there on a Sat. and buy pretty much whatever you needed.. oh well.

It's not exactly local (or cheap), but WheelEnhancement in Culver City has just about every Porsche take-off wheel you could imagine.

I'm dumb. I buy Michelin Pilot Cups from them for our 996TT customers... I have been there and seen all the take off wheels.

Thanks for the reminder! I appreciate it.

They dont sell used wheels that are more than 2 years out of production. I learned something new today from them!

Try Autobaun dismantlers in El Cajon. They've got lots of older P cars and BMW's. Might have a newer set....
