Well a week has passed and no results posted yet.
Can anybody explain why the delay?
Not sure what you mean by this, Brian. With the BRI, less is more, so to speak. There are only a few SS classes with lower factors than a Cayenne, and since all the Cayenne models are classed together in QSS, the BRI has to account for the Turbo S model as well. Though they are big and heavy, they are quite powerful and surprisingly capable for their size on the autox course, from what I've seen. They have the same index as a CS 914, a "scratch" 1.00, so your raw time is the same as your indexed time. Though you placed 57th out of 86, there is a CS 914 right behind you with a raw time only .11 slower, followed by an MSS Boxster, with a raw time that was 3 seconds faster than yours. I think you're in the ballpark with that index, considering you are not driving the optimal vehicle for the class. How much faster do you think you could have gone with the Turbo S motor? What does it have, about 200 more HP than the S? I would guess a well-driven Turbo S Cayenne could easily place in the BRI top 20 with that index, especially with a course that has a swale crossing like that last one.harnishclan wrote:Tough BRI factor that a Cayenne S gets less than a Boxster S
