This was sent to me so I thought I'd pass it along.

You are invited to the Pelican Parts Open House!

Come join us this Saturday, March 25th at 2PM for a look into Porsche racing history. Legendary race car driver Brian Redman will be our master of ceremonies, on hand to tell stories and sign autographs.

Come take a look at the recently recovered Porsche 917, 908 and 907 engines. It's a once-in-a-lifetime chance to get a close-up look at a piece of Porsche racing history!

The open house will kick off the Porsche 917 / 908 / 907 engine auction. We'll have some Porsche 917 books and videos for sale, as well as our extremely entertaining video show of Porsche 917 racing. All are welcome - refreshments will be served.

Pelican Parts is located at:
120 Standard Street
El Segundo, CA 90245

Please join us, and thank you for your continued support,

Wayne R. Dempsey

This is a pretty amazing story, actually, of some phenomenal Porsche racing motors that were stolen years ago and just recovered. See the thread on PP about them here.

Wow! Great story.

I wonder if one of those V-12's would fit in a 944

( AR-1 .... AR2... How to "class" it?)
