Birthday Fun - Cart Fun or 944 Spec

Hello Guys, I hope life has been treating you well.

I have a friend turning 50 in a few weeks and I'd like 'the guys' to do something fun.

Can someone point me in the right direction in Los Angeles for those fast Cart's and indoor racing similar to what you guys have in San Diego? I don't know that there is a facility but it always sounded like fun when you guys wrote about it.

Tim, it would be more fun to drive your 944 spec but I didn't see an AX going on the weekend of the 24th of June. I also didn't know if you had other venue's open to you besides the Q. There would be several driver's. If you have idea's send me a private message or call me at work 626-599-2219.

There is a place in Anaheim (by the Angels stadium) called "Dromo One". I went there a few years back, it was about $20 for 20+ minutes of track time including qualifying and griding in order. All of the karts had lap timers on them too. WAY better than Miramar Speed Circuit and cheaper too. Hopefully it is still there and the prices haven't increased much.

FYI- the POC short track series will be at Streets of Willow on the 24-25th too

Google FTW. I found several facilities in Los Angeles all of which seem tame. (I guess I'm spoiled, eh?)

It just doesn't have the sizzle that I'm used to, lol.

It's hard to get excited about riding in a cart unless it's one of those cherry performance carts. It reminds me that I should come down to the next AX.
