On June 10th we are having our PCASDR Day at The Spa at the Lodge at Torrey Pines. Alan Johnson is our guest host for the morning walk around site of the famous Torrey Pines Race Track. Alan will share information about the track's history and what it was like to drive. All club members are welcome to meet us at 9:00 am in front of the hotel.

Here is the schedule:

9:00 Meet at the valet area in front of the hotel

9:00-9:45 Walking tour with special guest Alan Johnson through Torrey Pines and former site of the old Torrey Pines race track. Open to all members

10:00-1:00 Spa appointments based on availability. Call Leanne Stanoff our group coordinator at 858-777-6631 to schedule appointments

1:00 Lunch (optional) based on availability call Denise at 858-829-7441 for reservations

For those of you who are not familiar with Alan, he drove professionally for years and wrote several books on racing. He's the guy who came up with the type 1, type 2 and type 3 turns that we use in our PDS. Come meet this legendary driver on June 10th.

That is Alan standing there in the striped shirt at Riverside Raceway with his wife at the time Diana in the car. She would later (at another event) back that car into some barrels at Holtville, Alan was not amused about it!!!!!
