If you are planning to attend the June 19th AX, please fax in a pre-registration form ASAP, even if you are registered for the year. This will help us know our projected attendance, as the board has set a minimum of 25 to allow the event. Thanks for your help.

I'd love to go, but just thinking about fighting traffic at that time in the morning dissuade me.

Just get up extra early and do the dawn patrol down there. Traffic isn't that bad at 5:00-5:30am. :D You could have your car all ready to go by 6:00am and still have time to help set up the track!

That is a good idea. I thought even that early traffic would be pretty bad.

I have a friend with a viper that I might be able to convince into going. Any chance on lightening the club membership requirements since we are worried about having enough people in attendance?

Alan-
Email the autox chairs for approval of special requests like that. This is a different event than our regular, year-long series-- no-points, X-cars OK, and obviously there will be BMW club guys there who are not PCA members. At the moment, only PCA and BMW club members are approved, but special requests may be considered.

Tom: Thanks for the plug on track setup. "You could have your car all ready to go by 6:00am and still have time to help set up the track! " We will need help with track setup since we expect a turnout of 40-50 people. As of June 12 we have 27 pre-registrations. David K. says "PLEASE come early and help us get the track set up!" Thanks for all the volunteer help!

Lunch

Postby Curt Yaws on Tue Jun 13, 2006 9:08 am

For lunch, we will be doing the Costco Pizza run. If you would like to participate, the cost is $5.00 and there will be a sign-up sheet at tech inspection. Please pay at tech time and we will order and pick-up the pizzas in time for a break about 11:30 am. Drinks will be provided at the AX.
