Howdy, any reccomendations on an excellent body shop for a street Porsche. $ is no object, since the claim is against the other driver. Thanks mucho, Dan

West Coast Specialties in the Mira Mesa area has done a nice job for me a couple of times and they always have a lot of Porsches, Mercedes, Audis and Ferraris in their shop so they are used to working to a higher standard. Whoever you use find out what parts the shop is using. The insurance company adjustors typically list and price out the cheapest stuff available as the basis for their approved price estimate. I wanted factory parts and West Coast pushed to get them approved (at a higher cost) rather than cheaper aftermarket or "reconditioned" (used and repaired) parts that a lot of shops use. Good luck.
+1 on West Coast Specialties. We have had minor and major body work done on Mercedes, BMW, and Porsche ( ). All work was done to very high standards and we had no issues with insurance (AAA) covering the costs quoted by them. One caveat - the duration may be longer than originally quoted... If you want it back soon, be prepared to call them frequently.
