Just want to take a minute to give KUDOS to Victoria and her Minions for the past-Sunday event. Tooi and I chatted with quite a few "new, new" members; hopefully we'll see them all again. Slot car racing: what an original (crazy?) idea. Folks had fun; won some swag! Crepes on offer (one dinner; one dessert): excellent. Now about that secret garage we had the chance to enter and stroll around in: WOW. So many late model Lambos, a handful of Ferraris, Porsches, Jags, an Austin Healey (thinking I've seen that car at a Carlsbad C&C) plus the odd cast off Aston Martin and even a Bentley. I'm sure I'm missing a marque or two. My favorite? The pristine Mini Cooper with the flag roof and four big rally lights on front. Did I mention pristine? ...as were, in truth, all of the cars in the garage. NO FOTOS allowed so don't expect to see any, not even pirate shots.
