December 31 - Ducktail spoilers

Here is the link for the December Cars and Conversations: https://pcasdr.org/event/cars-and-conversations-2-2-2-2/

Thank you to everyone that came out to the November Cars & Conversations at Moonlight Beach. Even without coffee and being on Thanksgiving weekend, we still had about 85 cars show up. Great weather and plenty of parking spaces to showcase all of the after-market wheels.

For the month of December, we'll be at the Embarcadero Marina Park North Parking Lot on New Year's Eve. Some people may say that attendance will be low because it's New Year's Eve but other say attendance will be fine because maybe you've had a lot of guests over the last two weeks and need a break from the house. Well, if you're the later, you have a December Cars and Conversations to escape to for a few hours. :roflmao:

January 28 - Whaletails

Here is the link for the January Cars and Conversations: https://pcasdr.org/event/cars-and-conversations-2-2-2-2-2/

Thank you to everyone that braved the rainy weather and came out to the December Cars & Conversations at the Embarcadero. Warm coffee was definitely helpful and thanks to Analog and Grit for coming through on New Years Eve bright and early. We had about 40 cars show up.

For the month of January, we'll be at the Mission Bay parking lot by the De Anza Cove Park kind of by Campland. We'll be featuring Whaletails. Please be aware that Michal Z will also be hosting his Mini Driving Tour from this location so it should be a good turnout with the two events. Hope to see you there.

Happy New Year and may 2024 bring you peace, health, laughter and many drives in your Porsche!

February 25 - "For the Love of Porsche"

Here is the link for the February Cars and Conversations: https://pcasdr.org/event/cars-and-conversations-2-2-2-2-2-2/

Thank you to everyone that came out to the Cars and Conversations at De Anza Cove. The weather was awesome and we had about 86 Porsches show up along with BeetleBean and Analog & Girt supplying the coffee.

For the month of February, we will be at Tidelands Park in Coronado and will be featuring "For the Love of Porsche" and Michael Z will be starting another Mini Driving Tour from this location after a successful inaugural event today. So now you're asking what does that mean you're highlighting "For the Love of Porsche." What that means is because February celebrates Valentine's Day and love, I thought what better way to tie in with that than to highlight those that love Porsche. In this case, what we're looking for are those family units where there are multiple Porsches in the family so whether it's a His and Hers, or Mother and Daughter, or Brother and Sister, or Grandpa with Dad and Grandson, we want you to drive all of the vehicles separately to be parked together "For the Love of Porsche."

Bonus: Let’s see who has the most Porsche apparel that they can wear “For the Love of Porsche.” I know someone out there has collected enough Porsche apparel through the years to wear everything from head to toe in Porsche or Porsche Design branding. If you’re just starting your collection, don’t worry, everybody please wear everything Porsche and let’s see all of those unique Porsche finds from all corners of the Earth from beanies, to sunglasses, to jackets, to scarves, to watches, to pants, to socks, to shoes and everything in between all “for the love of Porsche.”

Super Bonus: If you have Porsche home/car/office accessories, please feel free to share those as well such as Porsche bar stools, signage, flags, pen holders, portable coffee tables, umbrellas, tents, portable chairs, etc.

1/30/24 Update: I will being inputting known future C&C dates so that you may plan your time accordingly. If there are gaps in the schedule, please know that is by design because we may not have everything confirmed to make that particular month's event public just yet.

March 24 - All Targa Models

Here is the information/calendar link for the March Cars and Conversations: https://pcasdr.org/event/cars-and-conversations-2-2-2-2-2-2-4/
Here is the direct registration link for the event: http://msreg.com/CandC-Cabrillo2024

Thank you to everyone that came out to the February Cars and Conversations. The rain stayed away and the weather was awesome. We broke our record of most cars at our Cars and Conversations event. I lost count after 101 cars! The mini drive tour following the event was a success too and certainly helped with the attendance numbers.

For the month of March, we'll be going to the Cabrillo National Monument. A couple of very important details for just the March Cabrillo National Monument Cars and Conversations.
1. It's not on the usual last Sunday of every month as that day is Easter. The event will take place one week earlier on 3/24/24.
2. The time has changed as well. It is from 7-9am as we will be there before the park officially opens to the general public so we will have the park to ourselves for this event.
3. You must register via Motorsportreg.com to be let into the event. It's free but space is limited. We were originally capped at 80 cars but we've received more capacity to 95 Porsches.
4. We're partnering with SD GO for this event and they will be inviting a small of group of cars to include Ferrari, Aston Martin, and McLaren.

The highlight for the March event will be all Targa models so bring everything from your modern day fully automated Targa models to the soft window Targas of years past. If you have a Carrera GT or a 918 Spyder, please bring them out as well as I would categorize those cars as Targas as well.

Update: As of 2/28/24 at 9am pt, we have 83 Porsches registered for the event out of 95 spots available. Once we reach our cap of 95 Porsches, you will be placed on a waitlist so continue to register and we'll move you in as space opens up.

April 28 - All Porsches with Wings

Here is the information/calendar link for the April Cars and Conversations: https://pcasdr.org/event/cars-and-conversations-2-2-2-2-2-2-3/

Thank you to everyone that braved the cold, windy and a little bit rainy March Cars and Conversations. We want to thank our partner Michael at SD GO C&C for helping to make this event happen and Nick with Del Mar Insurance Group for sponsoring the event. We had about 41 Porsches show up. Unfortunately, the mini drive tour did not take place as there weren't enough leaders and it was deemed too risky to drive through the city in the rainy conditions.

For the month of April, we're hosting a very special Cars and Conversations at The Hangars by Crownair. We're very excited for this event and expect a large turnout (please all do the sunshine dance.) The time of the event will return to the usual 8am-10am and no registration is required. We'll be featuring all Porsches with a wing and will be parking all winged Porsches inside the actual airplane hangar. Please note that parking in the hangar will be first come, first served and once parked in the hangar you're required to stay til the end of the event at 10am due to all of the cars being parked strategically for a photo op. If you can't commit to staying til the end of the event if parked in the hangar, please let us know so we can direct you where to park outside.

Also, with the event being at an airport, please feel free to re-watch Top Gun and spit out quotes from the movie throughout the event. :roflmao: On a serious note, if you're currently serving or have previously served in the Airforce, please feel free to wear your uniform/gear/attire/medals/etc related to the Airforce. ...and don't forget to wear your aviator glasses and bomber jackets. This also includes Naval pilots and commercial pilots as well. Basically if you're flying a plane, jet, helicopter, or space shuttle, we'd love to see you dressed in uniform.

Lastly, we would like to thank our sponsor, Michael Zurich at Blossom Valley Detailing for helping to make this event possible.
