The email announcement I've received for this event shows an aerial Google map that indicates we are going to gather in the North East Parking Lot at De Anza Cove, which is where I remember meeting for previous C&C events with the club. However, that particular lot is still closed (as of today) for a resurfacing job that is ongoing AFAIK (long overdue for completion). There is a fence across the entrance. There is another lot to the west of the one that is closed. Is that where the event will actually take place? There is also another lot to the south where the launch ramp is that is open.

Hi Tom. Thank you for the heads up. I'm actually already aware of this as this was already brought to my attention. I addressed it in the social media posting today with an updated location to the west most parking lot in the same area and you'll see in Monday's mailer, it will also have the updated location. Thank you for being proactive and bringing it to my attention though. As I mention in my disclosure at all of my events, "sometimes, it takes a village" and I appreciate all help in all areas.

Hi. The highlight tomorrow is all red and pink Porsches. Here is the link: https://www.pcasdr.org/region-calendar#calendar-7fa304a3-9ee0-463f-bbc8-a81edf1b050f-event-m5k45jq6.

You can also find a running list of all past, current and future Cars and Conversations on the first page of this thread or visit the club Calendar for information/details too. Hope to see you tomorrow.

May 25 - All Air-Cooled Porsches

Here is the link to the May Cars and Conversations: https://www.pcasdr.org/region-calendar#calendar-7fa304a3-9ee0-463f-bbc8-a81edf1b050f-event-m5omfh50

Thank you to everyone that came out to the April Cars and Conversations at Old Poway Park & Railroad. We were welcomed with some rain early on but it eventually stopped and made way for the partly sunny morning. We had about 75 Porsches show up.

Thank you to Porsche Club of America San Diego Region for providing warm coffee and yummy donuts.

Thank you to Sequent and Garage Door Medics for sponsoring the event. Thank you to Lucas (IG: photos_by_lucas78) and Jacob (IG: jacobo_fotos) for taking pictures.

Here is the link to the Google photos shared album: https://photos.app.goo.gl/5WgQwaQLyXQKPQNc9. Feel free to download any photos that you like or add any photos to the album that you took to share with others.

Please mark your calendar for May 25th as you don't want to miss this event! We're going to back to The Hangars by CrownAir in association with NetJets Aviation from 8am - 10am. We'll be highlighting all Air-Cooled Porsches. Air-Cooled Porsches will be given the opportunity to park inside the hangar on a first-come, first-served basis but please keep in mind, if you choose to park inside the hangar, you're required to stay until the event ends as we can't move cars around for you to leave early. We expect a large turnout so please plan your arrival time accordingly and parking in the hangar is not guaranteed.

May Cars and Conversations is sponsored by Sequent, Garage Door Medics, Legacy Auto Spa, One of One, and Cool Heat HVAC.

We're looking for volunteers to help with this event so if you're interested in helping, please send an email to cars-n-conversation@pcasdr.org.

June 29th - No highlight

Here is the link to the June Cars and Conversations: https://www.pcasdr.org/region-calendar#calendar-7fa304a3-9ee0-463f-bbc8-a81edf1b050f-event-m5omfr98

Thank you to everyone that came out to the May Cars and Conversations at The Hangar by Crownair. The weather was nice but unfortunately, it wasn't ideal for NetJets to land their plane to showcase. I know may of us were looking forward to stepping foot on a private jet.

Early on, my son counted over 139 Porsches and we still saw Porsches arriving so I think it's safe to say, we had over 150 Porsches. We had many Air-Cooled Porsches lined up to park in the hangar and luckily because the older generation Porsches are smaller, we were able to fit every Air-Cooled Porsche in the hangar that wanted to park inside.

The event was bustling with energy and conversations. Thank you to Ray and Julie from The Hangar by Crownair for hosting us. Thank you to Jason from NetJets for the partnership and also thank you to all of the sponsors that helped make this happen. Thank you Cool Heat HVAC, Sequent Creative, Garage Door Medics, One of One, and Legacy Auto Spa.

Here is the link to the Google Photo shared album: https://photos.app.goo.gl/t8zFwASA6YEycoEf7. Feel free to download any photos that you like or add any photos to the album that you took to share with others.

Lastly, thank you to Lucas (IG: photos_by_lucas78) and Jacob (IG: jacobo_fotos) for taking pictures.

Please make your calendars for June 29th as you're also not going to want to miss this highly anticipated event too! We're going back to the San Diego Automotive Museum. Please note that the time is earlier; 7am-9am. Last year, the main parking lot in front of the museum filled up and folks had to park in the overflow parking lots. Please keep this in mind as you plan your arrival time. Also, we will not be highlighting a feature for June because again, Balboa Park is very strict with parking so we're not able to save spaces for any highlighted feature.
