Open Letter to David Marguglio

Postby Michael Dolphin on Thu Sep 22, 2005 12:12 pm

David, I've just been informed that Maria and her posse (Svetlana, Venus, Amelie, Lindsay, Anastasia, et al) will not be autocrossing again in Cayennes in advance of this year's Porsche Race to the Championship event.

I understand that Maria is very, very disappointed as you had made such a huge impression on her in your masterly control and teaching methodology, all the while keeping your hands on the steering wheel where they could be clearly seen.

As well, Kim, Jad, Jackie, Greg, Cecelia and the rest were also mentioned in the disappointing news.

However, I am only slightly authorized to tell you that an alternative event may tempt you to come again to Los Angeles for a different type of landmark Porsche event around the middle of November. That event will surround a very, very special CGT that has made recent speed record news.....

Stay tuned.

Poor David, another discarded Boy Toy. Time to amend the email signature to "ex personal driving coach..."

The alternative event sounds pretty interesting as long as it involves getting behind the wheel or riding in a CGT, hopefully not in a parking lot.

Michael,
I'm racing at Buttonwillow on Nov. 12-13, but otherwise, I'm free to assist as needed. I enjoyed working with your crew last time and it was good to meet some other PCA'ers. :D
Do you need a updated resume?

ps. You know I could drive that CGT faster than Jay Leno! :P
