Thanks to Jack Miller and Robert Baizer for making these events seem effortless. I'm always awed at how easy going you both seem! It was fun in the sun for those 2 days. Great cars, people and weather. The new section looks like it will be an interesting addition to an already fun track next year. Can't wait to do it again. If you haven't time trialed yet, seriously consider these events. Well worth all the time and money. It's difficult to log over 100 miles a day in a parking lot...and you actually get to use 5th gear!

Great to hear you guys had fun out there!

Did anyone take any pictures of the event? Sure wish I could've gone and watched :(

What a great little track!
Probably the most challenging yet. This track is loads of fun and great for teaching/learning. I felt it was well worth the drive to get there. Saw some old friends, too! Good weekend...........one for the memory banks. :)

Jackie, Did Mark Foley better my last time? That rat *&%$#+@ kept posting laps just slightly faster than mine till I laid down that one "quailfying" lap.

Watch out for the tortoises!

Yep - Kudos to Jack and Robert - another fun, well run and casual event. Where else can you experience loads of track time, visit an exotic locale, have 24 gaming, and get a $1.99 (semi edible) breakfast?

I really liked the technical aspects of the track. 911's never saw 5th gear, but no matter. The technical challenge of the track and the verrry good competition made it really fun. Sign me up for next year!

Excellent event! Thanks to Jack and the whole crew that put this together. It couldn't have run smoother. A huge thanks to Bob Erhman for the fantastic hospitality and a once in a lifetime glimpse into how the other half lives... :D And congrats to Bob also on his TTOD and winning AR class for the year...What happened Steve?

And Jad, sorry you couldn't make it...now that I have a suspension that works I think I can make it interesting..

Jack and Robert,

Great event...again!!!

Pahrump is one of the best tracks near us that we can get access. Vert technically challenging and just as hair raising as any other track if one chooses to drive it at the limits.

Hope they get some of the amenities added to Spring Mountain soon, still a bit limited on that front.

Bob, congrates on TTOD, 0.01, OOoooocchh! I am kicking myself on that one. What happened to your second lap?

I'm kicking myself, too!
Congrats to you, Kary and to Bob, and congrats to all who stayed for the Time Trial. It's a shame so many left!

My mistake. Bob's other time was really 1:48.71. It's correct on the printout now but apparently not in the data dump. I will correct it and send Kary a revised version to post. Sorry about that.

I also want to thank Jack and crew for the great job. They make it seem so effortless that we may forget how much work is involved is putting on these events.

Even though the new sections of the track at Spring Mountain look interesting, I would be just as happy to keep running the old configuration for awhile. I know that I left a lot of time out there and with just a little more practice. . . .

I liked the original configuration also. I know we only drove the new portion of track at slow speeds but it did not seem all that interesting to me compared to the orginal track. Does any one know who designed the new portion of the track? It did not feel like Ruppert (the orginal owner and designer of the track) desgined it.
