In the latest crash data, it was shown that you are 11% more likely to be killed in an SUV than in a passenger car. So much for all those people who buy SUV's because they are safer. Last year you were only 7% more likely to die in an SUV. Turns out most fatalities occur in rollover accidents and guess what type of vehicles roll the most Maybe Darwin will slowly make it possible for people to feel safe driving Elises, Miata and Coopers in the US not to mention make the 15 mpg average fuel economy seem ridiculous.
