Two Cal. Speedway's and a Vegas Speedway. Hmmmm  . Sounds like a good season for high-HP cars who like lots of flat-out speed  .

Any chances for Streets of Willow/Buttomwillow? :?: Otherwise, I'll bring a pillow and good book....

Radio transmission from inside of 914/912/944 drivers in Yellow run group at Cal Speedway entering front straight:

"Okay folks: first two are dealt.... burn one, turn three...."
"I'm in for five...."
"See you, and raise you five"
"That's ten to the rest of you, or fold......."
"Call"
"Call"
"Okay... so.... burn one and tu..."
"Hold it! Hold It! Turn three, guys...... Turn three!"
"Yep.... I gotta visual on the braking zone....... in threee.....twoooo..... one!"
Alright! Let's do some driving!

Should be fun!

Dan, that's actually the POC's TT schedule for the first part of '06. I believe Jack is still waiting on dates from the tracks.

BTW, you should give Vegas Speedway a shot. It's actually pretty technical with very little time on the oval. Phoenix Speedway has more time on the oval, but it's no where near as fast as Cal. Speedway (ask me how I know :x ). Both seem like they would be fun 944 N/A tracks (think BWRP with walls ;)).

"BWRP with walls" .... whoa! Cool. That could be very fun.... and lot of adrenalin!

So, I'm a little confused. Anyway, I'm hoping for at least one SOW or Buttonwillow for 2006. Not sure about Vegas Speedway, but ya never know.

BTW: have you resolved your exhaust issues? Hose clamps work? Just curious.......

I think Kary was talking about the CFoS joint PCA/POC event, but I could be wrong. Kary?

I got the car home. But have not had a chance to do any more repairs. Jae has some handy-dandy *killer* clamps that I will use. But will certainly have a stock pile of hose clamps before I venture off to my next event (just in case). I appreciate the advice.

The operative word is "some", not "all" dates. There will be more dates forthcoming when Jack gets them for PCA as will other POC dates. Was merely posting some confirmed dates that many of us attend between the two clubs.

Sorry for the confusion.

Excellent! I 'd like to toss my vote in to the ring for a day at SOW, and/or Buttonwillow.

Thanks, Kary, Mike D. and Jack M. for a great TT program. Keep up the good work, it is appreciated. :beerchug:

OK, I understand now. Since others may be confused like me, may I clarify?
The dates Kary posted are all dates reserved by the POC for POC events.
We don't have any PCA dates yet. Right?
Thanks,
JP

Right, except for the Festival of Speed, which is a PCA Zone 8 event (in conjunction w/ POC.)

Is the Festival of Speed a "PCA" Time Trial or a DE?

It's a PCA Zone 8 Time Trial. And we have a date for SMMR for next year, September 30-October 1 (same weekend as the Pahrump Fall Festival, as usual). Jack is working on a date for each of the rest of the tracks we historically have run at. As soon as he's got 'em, I'm sure he'll post. So stay tuned but hold your horses; some of the tracks are slow to respond (to us at least).

It looks like a great schedule to me, especially when combined with our PCA TT schedule --hope there are no conflicts!!
I'm up for all except the STS and Infinion (just too far for the old guy!). That means 8 POC events spanning 20 days plus, say 5 PCA TTs spanning 12 days (some like FOS are 3 days), plus, maybe 10 other assorted days (Test/tune Fridays at WSIR, TCRA, Jae is gonna do a private day at WSIR for his customers etc., oh and we gotta find some days to chase Gagen around or better yet, herd him around, sorry Mike  ). The total should be about 42 days at the track!!! :) Sounds like a plan, eh?
