OT: Anyone know a good fabricator

Postby sdether on Wed Nov 16, 2005 3:23 pm

And to go really off-topic, I am looking for a fabricator that could design and machine steel/alumninum face plates for rack mount servers.

I figured this group of people is most likely to know anyone in this business, even if my question is totally off porsche or even car topic.

cheers,
arne

Arne,

Your best bet in San Diego Would be to go with California Sheet Metal Works, Inc. I've worked for them in the past and they are the largest and most reputable shop in town. They just aquired their biggest competitors', San Diego Sheet Metal Works, limited production shop out in Santee, where they have all the latest and greatest state of the art equipment for fabrication. Their work is of the highest quality and 2nd to none. They have fabricated parts for nuclear reactors on submarines as well as parts for the space shuttle. They are timely, professional and have competitive prices with the smaller shops.

There info. is; 6711 Nancy Ridge Drive
San Diego, Ca 92121-2231
