3" wheel spacers

Postby sean996 on Thu Nov 24, 2005 10:52 am

Hey all,

I have an extra set of 996 wheels with good rubber I would like to use on my 911 . . . for them to work on the rear I have to use 3" spacers/adapters . . . I don't think I can get wheel studs long enough for conventional spacers . . . anyone heard of horror stories with these adpaters?

I wasn't planing on autox'g with them . . . maybe just spirited street driving/mountain climbing . . . opinions please.

Thanks,

Sean

I would not. Just seems dangerous to me. Probably some other reasons around the hub as well.....
