Congrats on winning the Hot Laps. I was up there yesterday and was COMPLETELY blown away by the car.

The car DOES look a lot like a 996 because this is "Evolution, not revolution."

696 people spent the past 5 years paying attention to the details on the 996 - all of them! This has led to the best performing and most luxurious 911 yet.

Awesome!

Does anybody else see some 959 genes expressing themselves in the front of the 997?
Now that was a Porsche! :)

Hey Chris,

Any news of the new Boxster? Is it going to adopt the same lines as this new 911 or will they keep them separate and distinct?

Also, you are our inside man, we want news of the Boxster Coupe man! What of the Boxstoupe (or whatever they end up calling it)? Give us some info :D.

Chris,
Now this is just rumor, but in the event of a front end collision, is the front bumper and hood really exchangeable with those of the New Beetle? :D :D :D
