AX Schedule for 2006

Postby ronaldtrotter on Sun Dec 18, 2005 11:26 am

Just trying to get my first half year organized for 2006 and looked at the PCA calendar and have a few questions.

1. Two AX's in Feb. ?
2. No SDR AX in May but a two day DE?
3. No SDR AX in June?

Is this right. As I said I am trying to get my schedule straight so I can be to as many events as possible.

There is some scheduling questions that will be sorted in the next few days and posted to the respective pages. I am just waiting for the word from the top!

I will post here when these are 100% solid

Until then the DE dates are Sunday dates followed by Saturday AX's
DE page already reflex this.

Ummm.... wouldn't that be "Saturday AX's followed by Sunday DE's". But then again maybe Steve's calendar has Sunday before Saturday... might explain a few things

LOL-
Mike, If you could see my calender for December/January you would understand how funny that is... well at least in my head.
Which is spinning at an alarming rate right now.

But be nice, or next time I might have to charge you for that F-series Super-duty roadside assistance call...

See you at "The Fastest Road in the West" 1:29's for everyone!

Again, the questions that start this all:

2 autocrosses in Feb?
None in June?

Yes, 2 in February and none in June.
The June gloom is brutal to try and run an autocross in

There are no 2 day DE's only a Saturday AX and Sunday QDE

The scheduling at the stadium was brutal. Not only were a number of dates taken , but there were more driving clubs than ever. SCCA is trying to pay for a new trailer, so they have a number of 2 day events. The BMW club is having a national meet, 3 days, + a number of events. Now the Lotus club is doing events at the stadium, the Corvette club has their 1 day, and now a karting club is in the mix. This you should check out. Wheel to wheel, and in the west lot.

We got what we could.:D

I am not a mathematician but I think 8 dates in 7.5 months is an AX every 28 days! :beerchug:

There are other clubs that don't even get a driving event until May and that is in the George Washington Carver Junior High School faculty parking lot!

We have it so good we should be pinching ourselves.

Just for a reality check we had 23 days of high speed competition driving events last year. That's 15.86 days between events or 6.3% of your year driving your Porsche as fast as you dare... :burnout:

Try alternating arms so you don't bruise...

Yes. We're set for that. April 7th-9th. Gary did a masterfull job of working around the other driving events .... including TT's. Great job, Gary and the A-X/DE boys!
