Transponders and upcoming Time trials...

A place to hang out and discuss all things Porsche.

I am ROTFLMAO right now... You know me Curt I am just looking out for you guys...

Thanks Martin ,well thats 2 of us...

Just as an FYI, I recieved this from AMB:

Dan,

Our rechargeable transponders (TranX160, AMB MX and TranX260) typically last 5-7 years. We warranty the batteries and transponders for 3 of those years. It really isn't based on the number of recharges, just that it gets charged once every few months to avoid getting a 'low' memory as NiMh batteries can.

Ryan Kramer
Marketing Manager

IMHO the cost should have not been raised, but hey that is just me, I'm a complainer....

Could you, Curt and Mick share a battery transponder?
It might work where the timing format is AX style single car.
You might not have posted times all weekend but maybe the timing guys can accommodate such a request?

So does all this mean you are going to Big Willow?
Hope so. I'll have some chairs and a heated box if needed.

Do I hear a hint of sarcasm Mikey??

Ok, I'll stay off the soapbox... Unfortunately, I will not be able to attend the first event. I plan on running the remaining TT's however. Have fun and be safe. I want to see a 1:25 out of you...

Jad, back in true form!! Keep it up!

Mike,
Whatever Dans excuse is for not coming I am sure it has nothing to do with the fact that this event has potential for this club to post its best lap times ever at the big track. Now some people might not want to go when HP is at a maximum and adhesion is at a minimum, as this kind of driving takes a great deal of skill and intestinal fortitude (G-rating) and some people may not possess both or either of these ingredients...

Now for me... I'm just trying to get out of doing house projects for one weekend...

Not that I am saying any of this applies to Dan though....

Actually I am just being sportsman like and giving Riz a head start for the year.... maybe Mr. Erhman will do the same for you?

I am not expecting any mulligans from Mr. Erhman and stretching out my left arm muscles already, and installing a new wink mirror so I can see him coming and give sufficient room.

I wish he was my only problem, but looking at the roster makes me wonder if I'll even make the top ten...

But at least I'll be there...instead of running away like a scared little school girl...
Opps!! Did I say that out loud??

Well let's just hold on a second......I said that "it would be close..." as far as my car having it's new wide body config to fit the new tires...and after being at the shop t'day everythings on schedule.

I might have to pay the $25 extra but so it goes.... :D :D

Afterall....the last coupe weekends I was at BW in Nov & Dec the car and track really seemed to like each other....I felt as tho I was just there for the ride !!!!!

sheezz that is generous.
So to start the AM season Dan is going to spot you 20 points at BW and your new set of "Rolandesque" style flares.
Guess Dan likes a challenge.
