Sunday, Jan 15 [Details/AccuPOP]
Mostly cloudy, breezy and cool with a shower. Winds from the WNW at 11 mph.

This is the AccuWeather forcast as of 8:36 Friday AM.

I say, let's take a chance in the AM; drive cautiously/carefully/slowly, and hope it's dry asphalt and clear skies for the PM timed runs. Of course, the AX / Safety Chairs will make the final call. I say we go for it. Who's with me?

I'm all in! The detailed forecast says we might get 0.08" of rain around 10-11am, otherwise just "mostly cloudy" on Sunday.

No problemo! :D 'Course, it is easier for those of us on street tires than race slicks (right, Gary?)...

The NOAA website calls for a 20% chance of rain on Sun. So I'm with Dan.

I never thought there was any question we would run. The rain scare will weed out the faint of heart and be more fun for the rest. Old azenia's are about as bad as slicks in the rain, but alot of fun.

See you there

Now for the real questions -

Will Burl risk getting water on his car?

Will the Ibbetsons bring their Concours hangar queen?

Inquiring minds want to know!

Rick K - inquiring minds want to know - C4 in the shop?
In a moment of clarity saw the light and bought a true 911?
Turned to the dark side and bought a water pumper?

I heard he SOLD it!

He mentions looking for one in another post here. When I was at Dieter's last week, there was a red Carrera coming in for a PPI for him. How did that one pan out, Rick?

BTW, the forecast is improving for Sunday. :D

We'll show up at the Q and make a decision then. The current forcast for clearing will mean we may have to run the first sessions on damp asphalt. We've done that before. Unless we have torrential down pours or standing puddles we'll probably run.
