Register NOW or risk being shut out. To ensure a quality event, the number of entries is limited. This is a three day event and includes dinner Saturday night and a T-shirt. Refunds are available until March 10, so sign up now and cancel by then if you must. Once it's full though you'll have no chance at earning points for this event. Fill out, print, sign and fax the forms located at:

On the Club Race registration form there is a box to check that you would like to run in the timed session on Sunday (cost == $35).

Thank you sir.

Run the Boxster in the TT and the 993 in the club race (or vice versa)

Mike is right, you can run in the CR and elect to just do the TT timed runs session. Or you can run both in full (which of course costs more). Note that the timed runs are different at the Speed Fest than every other track we run. You run for up to a full session just like in practice and your best lap of that session is your time. Cars are gridded by time and then the start is staggered to increase the likelihood of getting at least some clean laps. Some strategy is involved as the guy just behind you is trying to catch up.

When I handled the computer end of Speed Fest registration last year we had web pages on the Z8 site that showed who had signed up. Since I'm not doing that job this year, I don't know how it will be handled but will try to check and report back as soon as I hear (likely a few days).

Speed Fest registered TT driver list is now online. Go to the Zone 8 website, click on the Z8 Speed Fest button on the left, then the Time Trial Participants link in the center of the page. Or go straight to http://www.pca.org/zone8/Z8SF/Z8SFestTTList.php. Updated daily.

Note that we are already over half full and it's only January. Get those registrations in NOW or get shut out.

May not be able to run, but I can volunteer to help out, and watch the home team take home the trophies ;-]

This coming Friday, February 24 is the last day to register for the Fontana TT at the discounted price. After that it's an extra $50 (and will likely be full with a waiting list). If you've been procrastinating, now's the time to just get it over with. You can still cancel by March 10 and get a full refund if need be. But after Friday, there's no way to avoid the $50 additional fee, assuming there's still space. See links above.

Run groups are now posted at:

http://www.pca.org/zone8/Speedfest/2006/Z8SFestTTList.php

Please check your Status to make sure you don't have any issues outstanding.

Also, we had a couple cancellations so if anyone would like to take those spots they should sign up quickly.
