36 is a good time for your first time there in a 2.5. 125 into 8 is good also, is that with your foot flat? Next you need to work on not braking for 9, and just a light tap for 1. Loads of time can be made up on that track from 5 to 3.... if you got the cajones .
Foot flat in 4th gear from the hill up to six all the way into the flat before 9. I was VERY slow into 1 with a fast exit. I was full throttle in fourth from the exit of 1 to the entrance of 3. Downshift into 3rd and full throttle up the hill and down to 4.. never "got" 4 correct. Upshift to 4th gear at the flat portion of 6...
How far away from spec is the car? 36's on 710's is about a 38 on Victoracer, maybe. I was hoping for a 35 or 36 class. Looks like it's real close. Very nice to see.
It is currently heavy. Other than that.. it needs a few more roll bar tubes to be 100% spec legal. We still have door panels/radio/windows/heater core/stock muffler... The car has a high 34 in it on the 710's.
BTW, don't let Ethan's 31 discourage you. He's a better driver than he lets on, and his car is where I wanted to take the Spec Class. Too bad most of my good (i.e. fast) suggestions fell on deaf ears .
When I get Ethans seat time at WSIR.... Give me 3-4 events.
