Help! Strategy needed to drive the Mother's Day DE

Bill Ibbetson and Jackie Corwin's spouse (don't know his name) have it great. Can you imagine for Mother's Day saying "Honey, I have the perfect gift for you. We're going to the Q DE!"

I need a strategy that will work with my wife and my 79 year old mom. All I have so far is to celebrate on Sat or swap Father's Day and Mother's day.

I know there is a autox on Saturday. Bonus points for a strategy that work for Sat and Sun.

JEWELRY...
That must be picked up Friday night at a spa in Palm Springs with several matching articles to be opened every few hours until Sunday check out.
You should all be home about the same time.
What part about Porsche and racing did you think was going to be cheap?

Pete,
You're a smooth talker, you'll think of something. I do think they would like the spa idea. Also look on travelzoo.com. They have lots of last minute trips to SF, 3 day cruise etc. I DO have it so good, and I know it. I always stress how much happier I will be after racing and "you want me to be happy don't you, Honey????????????????????"

Send your wife off to a spa for Mother's Day and then take her to dinner. Schedule all her treatments in advance so she'll be occupied all day.
 Let me know if you want any good spa recommendations.

the strategy that worked for me was to get her a P-car and then give her PDS as her birthday gift, now she wants to drive the events also!

Pete:

Just remember: Happy wife, happy life.

Or, as I tell my "on-payroll" florist...... flowers are "Wife Insurance." A bouquet every week or two, and I won't live, being happy, any longer .... but it wil seem like it.

I think a trip/spa/cruise/ weekend for your spouse is a great idea. And jewels/flowers/cards/gift cert. at Victoria's Secret won't hurt, either.

Or: you can do what Bill -Eye and I have done: teach your wife to drive your red-racer, as mentioned above, and watch her light up when you say: "Honey: next weekend is a double header A-X/DE." (Monica's response was .... "WoooHooo! Let's go, dude!")

Ya know, the PDS is areally good place for that  .

Hope to see you next weekend ...... "lightened wallet" not withstanding.

Like Jackie said, SPA treatment!
Maybe a half day package at Belissima here in Esco.
I know my wife loves the pampering ;)
