Uhm: if I remember my neuro-phys. 101 class correctly, the eyes are considered neuro-tissue, and you only get one set of eyes per life-time (brains/eyes/spinal cord, cephalic membranes, etc).
Botch the job, and there's no "second-try." As Curt would say, "this ain't rocket surgury" but it is neuro-surgery in some ways. See a specialist .... while you can still see!
Talk to Lewis Wise, Jad(?), Steve G.(?), and others who might have had the procedure done in town. I'm sure if they had it done, they'd share their experiences.
