Toyo RA-1's Legal in SS class?

If remember correctly the Toyo website says the tire should be shaved for dry track and remain full tread for rain. I suspect the tire dealer wasn't all that up on this particular tire.

Jack has a "special" source for his Toyo's which does not have the ability to shave them. But he was talking about switching sources so he could get them shaved. At least until Hoosier gets their act together.

Jack Miller has been raving about Toyos for a long time. Does anybody know if he shaves his (-- tires that is)?

Since I get them from Toyo, I can't get them shaved, so I just beat the living daylights out of them for 100+ miles. I don't mind the extra mileage since they are primarily my practice tires. I've been encouraging Toyo to simply make them with 4/32s. That would be awesome. NO DOUBT at all that shaved tires are faster.
