DE Sunday at the Q.

Postby Mike on Mon Jul 10, 2006 2:00 pm

This time of year a DE at the Q in the middle of summer is just so much nicer than any desert track.
Anyone else in for the DE?

I'm in & will bring an EZ up. If somebody brings a portable grill I'll bring some burgers and dogs.

Lets have a Hawaiian welcome for Mike's new EVO bodied beast.

Oh it should be there...Come on down, the sound monitoring chair has a new 928 racecar and needs some other loud cars to divert attention from his newest aquisition as we are trying to soften its tone before this weekend...
92 DB by Sunday! Sure no problem.

Yo, Mike! I'll be there as well. Any chance of an afternoon ride-along in the N&I* race bucket? Monica and I prefere the DE's, especially during the hot summer months. So, We'll be there with both cars.

Pete: the BBQ idea is good. I can fit a BBQ, Easy-up, cooler, chairs, stereo, Tiki-torches, maybe even a small Polynesian Dancing Troop... in the back of my car .... afterall it is a 944/El Camino.

Seriously, I can fit a small Smokie-Joe and some coals in the back. If you guys bring cook-ables, I'll bring the heat. Just let me know by Saturday.

Should be a great day!!

Okay, we'll since the db meter will be in action, I too need to check where I sit with my new exhaust set up (yes, another sponsor 8)). Dan I can bring the pig but where will we bury it?-certainly there's some big enough pot holes at the Q. How 'bout the person with the loudest car has to limbo under the timing at start/finish?

Like the new avatar, Danimal!
I'd like that, the FO* chair is on the list but all the other little items kept me from finding the time to fabricate the mounts.
2 re-bodies in one year, ugh.
Tire to fender clearance checks with your svelte Danimal bulk shotgun along with 25 gallons of gas would have been just the ticket.
The new FO chair is in the garage with plans to have it installed for the PCA Spring Mountain TT, will you take a rain check?
By then the car should be dialed in, a better experiance. :D
Any chance you'll take me along for a Sunday session in your car?

Grill sounds fun but a Tuna sandwich off the coach will be enough for me.
The new car might keep me busy over lunch. 8)

Can't wait to see Greg's new V8 thunder and the Copp brothers with 2 new race cars.
So many requests for the DB meter what a compliant club.

Best,
Mike

I'll be there. Gotta see Mike's new wheels in action. Hope more (real) AM guys show up than the last time. The only good fun was against a rice rocket.

Would love to come out & play with the (real) AM boyz...but other commitments will keep me out on the water.

No worries tho...I'll be at Pahrump 8)

Yo, Long Mike:

Yep, I'll rain-check the FO opp. until later. You're more than welcome to ride-along in the "Great-White-Hope."* Just one thing: When the pedals and chain-sprocket pop up from the floor-boards, you'll have to help me power the car through the corners  (and they said you couldn't add more power to a 944! Ha! :burnout:)!

*Hope it makes it up the hills.....

See you then,

The downhill momentum will be worth it.
Any chance of link to the DE track map?
