Where in San Diego can I find a set of valve cover gaskets and nuts ?

I made the mistake of reusing the old hardware on a set of gaskets and now I have oil everywhere,

Gary-

If your valve covers are the same as the '67S 2.0 engine, I have a bunch of the older style cork gaskets for them. Can't help you on the nuts.

ps- Is Dan C. still in Bali? I tried to email him and his Hotmail mailbox is full, so it bounced my message.

Gary

What you want is a valve cover set from Wrightwood Racing.

They are the best at keeping oil leaks out.

They come with upper and lower gaskets, oil drain washers, and all valve cover nuts and washers. Torque them to 100 in. lbs.

Cost is about $42.50

We have them and other independent shops my as well.

BTW- put the two mating surfaces together to check for flatness. If they are warped, have them resurfaced.
