Hey Dan,

This is your chance for TTOD Saturday. Ralph is in Europe for the F-1 race @ Monza and I am preparing the car for pahrump. Watch out for Andy, Roland, Mike, Clark, Burl, Jae or Mark. I am hoping to be there for timed runs at which time I will buy the TTOD winner a beer.

Can't say I didn't give you a heads up this time.

Have a great time! I'll be up to my elbows in 914.

Thanks Steve!

What about little timmy?! :D
I heard he's bringing out his "big red stick." The one they call "Timmy's BATON ROUGE." It's more powerful than the Mobil 1 944-spec car, has a wider stance, etc.

Remember Lil' Timmy that old saying? where the father sends the kid to get a (Big Red) Stick....
and then beats him with it??

:burnout:

Martin got TTOD  OK, he is a very good driver in a reasonably fast car, top ten absolutely, but #1 WOW Nice driving, wish I was there. Probably couldn't have made #1, but top 3??? Missed that opportunity

DE was very fun at least and I beat Martin, so I guess I was TTOD, yeah, thats it.... :D

Man, it was a great weekend. I never even dreamed of making the TTOD and there it happends thanks to Burl motivating me to go faster :D :D

The DE was fun even on the indestructible S02 street tires.

Thanks for this great weekend

Great drive Martin! I heard rumors, er, actually it was whinning, that you dropped two seconds from your fastest practice time. Clutch driving! The message is so obvious - lose the water, get TTOD. I'll just assume the passing on the DE was Jad's selective memory as he attemped to to unlap himself.

Actually, I heard that Jad passed Martin as he was exiting the track.

There is no truth to the rumor that I was on Victoracers and Martin decided to save tires and run street tires  (Assuming the definition of any tire used on the track becomes a track tire) We both were on track tires and we both spent much of the time dodging the spinning gulf Porsche. I think we saw more of Dan's headlights than duck tail and the headlights were not in the rear view mirror!

By the way, Dan, have the dizzy spells finally stopped? :P

That is true, I don't know what happen to the Gulf car yesterday, Jad and I saw his head lights at least 3 times in from of us :? maybe Dan tried to beat us in reverse. :D

On Saturday, Pete was the absolute cone killer and made me run about 1 mile to get the slalom cones  But on Sunday, Dan sure did beat that record of cone killing.

Jeeze Martin, you had to go and mention that after I give you kudos on your drive.

You know its bad when they stop the timing runs in order to reconstruct the course and, back in pregrid, have the pleasure of hearing Burl's monologue and the crowd clapping. Keeps you humble.

Anyway, let's focus on the really important things. Jad when are you posting the video of Dan spinathon?

I would like to thank all those people that turned up at the QDE on Sunday. There is a core of people that just pitches in and helps do every thing. Actually, picking up cones and loading the trailer was almost as much fun as driving, almost. I am glad to hear a good time was had by all who came out. Next time I wish you guys would register a little earlier. It would reduce our anxiety level, plus save you money.

I would also like to join in and thank Dan Andrews for his incredible display of stunt driving .

Thanks Again!

I think we all would have registered early if it would have saved us money for the Sunday only event. Even at $80, it was worth every penny and I only did 3 sessions. :D

I think that Dan just learned that Hoosiers are great tires until they are gone, and that there is a very fine line between great stick and totally shot. To see Dan spin three times in one session was quite amusing. I wondered if He11 was getting snowed on and pigs were flying.
