Anyone have an in-car video from Thunderhill I could copy?

Postby DC on Sun Sep 12, 2004 11:30 pm

Going to Thunderhill sometime in the next couple o' months, and was hoping to find an in-car vid to review beforehand of racing in a 911.

Anyone have one I could sneak a copy of?

Okay, how 'bout an even trade for beer and fish tacos?

I've got tape of a POC enduro at TH. If I haven't already taped over it, I'll dub it to VHS for you. When do you need it?

Postby MVZ944T on Tue Sep 14, 2004 12:04 pm

Check out Thunderhills website. They have a number of in-car video clips you can play off their site.

Nope, not for a lowly MAC guy like me!...

I clicked on the video clip and it launches a browser window of unending code...

Unless there's software I can add to my Mac that will automatically launch and play a WMV file off of a web site, I'm outta luck on this.

Thanks, and let me know if you have any software work-arounds for MAC.

If you run OS X there is the mplayer that will play just about anything and if the wmv is not clear then you will have to install Microsoft Windows Player for OS X (I know I don't want any Microcrap on my machine either but there are 2 program I have to use the M$- Remote Desktop Connection and this M$ Wind Player.

Thanks Martin! Actually, I checked out those links and saw a review by a user that said this still wasn't as good as VLC. I forgot I used this 2yrs ago, and never updated it. It's a hacker/student product like Fetch originally was I think.

I'm downloading the newest version now at:
