Who else is going to join the KP class? It looks like it is going to be a fun 2005.

I'll join, will you let me run my 993 in KP since you guys have 330 HP motors and I only have a 282 HP motor?

Uh Steve...

Oh yeah, I forgot about that strut brace. However, correct me if I am wrong, but I dont think 255 is 2 points in "K". It appears that you take 2 points for 260-270. But all of this is moot because I will likely be purchasing some RA-1's and thus moving to KP.

Dave

You are correct, that was a problem we had last year that got corrected for 17in wheel cars.

The rule guy stands corrected...

Sounds like 275 RA-1's for you...

I'll be staying in KP next year seeing just how much I can push you RSA lightweights around the course.

3220 lb. 205HP at the wheels, heavy, slow 968

Oh, you gotta love this one-up-man-ship.........NOT!
"I can spend more money than"...........uh. wait a minute, I mean, "I can drive faster than you can!"

You can either BE fast, or BUY fast............ :P
Maybe you 964 drivers should agree on a suspension, tires, wheels package. A minimum weight including driver? Cuz Martin weighs about 119 lbs?
It should be a fun class next year.

Bill,

I am right there with you, ~3150lbs and 217 hp at the wheels (throw in turbo lag to even things out). Good thing we know how to drive almost as well as 911 owners know how to spend money :D

How can you say something so outrageous Tim? Racing has NEVER been about who could spend more money than the next guy. :D

Thats right! Just ask Minardi.

I think Ford/Jaguar might differ (they have dropped F1 in case you haven't heard), Minardi races without money, Ford has money but won't spend enough to win. Guess they need better cheaper drivers! I'll give it a shot, anyone else in?

Bill, I drove your car at the ITD; :D and you drove MY car at the ITD. I KNOW what slow is. Your car (and you ) are NOT slow. Heavy? Maybe. 205 HP at wheels? Sure. But definitely not slow! 8)

Good guess Steve, you were nearly spot on with your comparison to Bob's car. I took the car to the Dyno Shop today (hotter than hell out in Sante) and it pulled 266.8 at the wheels. With your 16% drivetrain loss factor that would be 317 at the crank, right Steve? Sweet!

Now to add some lightness!
