Mike, I tried to upload an avatar which is 150x86 and under 15K in size and it does not seem to work. What do you think?

Permissions on the avatar directory were wrong. Should be OK now. I tested it with mine and it appears to work.

Let me know if you stil have trouble.

Seems to work well at the outset, the look and feel of it seems club appropriate and the avatar is a big enough size that i don't have to squint to figure it out. I'll probably screw with that for a while!
