For those who have not heard, Lewis and Marketa Wise welcomed a beauitful little baby girl into the world on Monday September 20th at 11:10am.

Her name is Laura Marie Wise
20 in long
7lbs 7oz.

Mother, father and baby are all healthy and happy if not a little sleep deprived.

And you will all be glad to know that she looks like Mom and not Dad.

Thanks everyone for the kind words and well wishes.

So far the experience of fatherhood has been phenomenal. Laura is an absolute little angel (most of the time), and is as cute as can be. If I can figure out how to put a picture up of her, I'll insert it here so you all can see, be jealous, and wonder how such a strange looking guy could have such a beautiful baby. :shock:

If I can catch up on my sleep, I'll work that out.

Hey, I just figured it out! Yes, the avatar is little Laura, not baby Daddy. Woo hoo, I'm so proud of myself right now. Yes, it's the little things that now make me happy.... anyway, back to the original text:

I'm at work again, working half days this week after last week off, and it feels weird to be away from the family. Oooh, saying that feels weird, too. Weird but way cool!
