I just talked with Jackie and we thought it might be good to give people a little more time? Say around 6:30pm?

Well, that was a good gathering of some nice people.
We had 4 944's and a 951. 9 Porsche fans. Met some brand new people and got to talk with some friends we already had. One guy, David Polk, was a member of Rennlist and lives in North County, but wasn't a PCA member yet. I think we roped him in. Nice guy, who got a little surprise about his new car. His 88 944 didn't have the 88 engine that he thought it did!
The mystery of the evening was the name of the color of Kevin's turbo.
We swapped some parts and some tech info and generally just socialized. It was an autocross without the driving part:lol:

Mystery solved: My color silver is described as: "Sapphire Metallic". Now I know.

Had a good time at the Foster's Freeze, definitely will be there again.

See y'all on the 23rd!

Ok, thanks, Kevin. The Sapphire name would explain the slight blue hue. Cool color.

Jeff King,
I wouldn't mind getting some ice cream at 6:30 every Wednesday. It's just down the street from where I build the spec cars.
As a crowd, I believe the consensus was once a month? 2nd Wed of the month. Let me know if you other guys want to show up weekly. Because I can be talked into going more than once a month. :D
