Trailer stuff

Postby MikeD on Sun Sep 26, 2004 9:23 am

OK, now that I have my own trailer, I need stuff... locks, chocks, tool boxes, anti-sway, etc. Where's a good place, either online, or local to buy stuff for out fitting my trailer?

Thanks,
Mike Dougherty

Mike, there are a number of on-line places that sell items so it depends upon what you need. There is a place down by the Sports Arena called "Marty Moore's RV Repair" that has many items. Gives you a chnace to look around and touch and feel the items to determine best fit.

Marty Moore's RV Repair 4019 Hicock St San Diego CA 92110 (619)299-3720

Here are some links for various trailer accessories that I used:

There are many more but this will get you started. Hope this helps!

Depending in your location also:

AROS Trailer Supply 411 N. Marshall in El Cajon

or

San Diego Trailer Supply 6881 El Cajon BLVD (near the border of SD and La Mesa)

I found the guys at SD Trailer to be a bit more helpful. They both have full service shops if you need installation as well.

Mike;

If you are looking for a weight distributing hitch, I have one that I would sell at a substantial discount off the new price. It helped quite a bit when I used to trailer my Carrera.
