You should boycott Cox! Send them hate mail. Fax them hate spam! I can write a program and we can launch a Denial Of Service attack on them. You should come out fighting with all we can give them.

Posted: Thu Jul 08, 2004 11:01 amDan, if Cox is going to let you have the Speed channel then change over to Direct Tv, they have it! I seem to recall a big deal about cable companies changing the program line up to suit their own needs ($$$), so whty stay with them?

Posted: Thu Jul 08, 2004 4:54 pmMartin, I have seen it at the magazine stand in UTC near the ice rink and have seen it at Barnes 7 Noble occaisionally. I use to subscribe to it but after about two years the same sort of stories kept coming up...though I still like the magazine alot!

Posted: Fri Jul 09, 2004 8:15 amSorry Dan, I feel it is everyones' right to have speed channel, even airheads. I once lived without it as Timewarner didn't think it deserved to be part of their basic cable.
Thus I had to upgrade to the full digital package and now I have speed and numerous european stations that carry Eurosport and probably the others, but I don't know as I don't know what they are.
Speed must be becoming more popular so they can sell it instead of giving it away (to most) now that they are the Nascar channel instead of speedvision, though still my favorite channel.
