Request for Porsche ride

Postby bill allen on Mon Sep 27, 2004 1:16 pm

I just got a call from a local man whose brother has stage 4 cancer. One of his brother's last wishes is to take a ride in a green Carrera. Who has a green Carrera that would be willing to grant this wish? Please call me at 619-462-5785 or reply to this post.

I just got email from LW offering his car. As he is rather busy right now with the new baby, I would prefer finding another volunteer. This is another of a long list of examples of Lewis volunteering his time, even when his time (and sleep) are very precious.
Thanks for the suggestion. Any one else?

Hey, I am perfectly willing to proffer my white C-car, but the guy wants green. Busy as he may be, I doubt that it would be much of a hardship to make LW drive his off-the-hook car. Besides, if I were going to have one great ride in a P-car, Lewis' car would be very high on my list.

I'm too flattered. I guess Viper Green is just too hard to resist!

Bill, I have a 97 Green Carrera with camel interior I would be glad to provide a ride in.

Bill: let us know what happens with this; perhaps it would make a good Witness article?
