Looking for a dependable Porsche mechanic/shop

Postby Michael165 on Tue Oct 05, 2004 4:13 pm

Hi,

I recently moved down to SD from the Bay Area and I'm looking for a dependable Porsche mechanic/shop either in the Escondido or UTC area. I have a 1998 911S.

Thanks!

I whole-heartedly agree with both Martin's suggestions and would add Blackforest into the mix. You cant go wrong with any of the three. I would call all of them and see with whom you strike a rapport.

Hoehn Porsche is the place I go to buy new or warranty work. But, if you want to go fast and get quality work done that you can trust then go to : Dieter's, Mind over Motorsport or Black Forest

Hi
Try Scott's Porsche they have been working on these cars for over 30 years and sponsor 3 cars in the SDPCA. They also do trackside support. They also have the best prices and quickest turn around time . They do everything from RSK's , 906,s to the new GT3rsr. When I have been a pinch they have really helped me out give them a call 619-474-5588 as for Kenny. See there web site @ www.scottscarrerasports.com

In Escondido I've used All German Auto for my 01 525 BMW and my 77 911S. Good pricing and excellent service for all Porsche models.

Mirage international is located just a couple minutes south of UTC.
Jae Lee the owner is available 24/7 at 858 581 1101.
Jae's been a big help with both my 911s.
Visit an SDR AX at the Q if you would like some more referals.
Many really good choices, your 911 will be well taken care of in San Diego. :D
