If you missed the last Grand Am Rolex race Friday evening, you missed some of the best racing I have seen in a good while, and a huge heartbreak for Porsche. Brumos Porshce #58 was running first, and the Ruby Tuesday was running second, both pulling away from the rest of the pack in the last laps. The Ruby Tuesday car ran out of fuel on the last lap finishing 15th I think. The Brumos car ran out within a couple of hundred feet from the finish line and was passed by two other DP cars, and finished third. In the GT class, I think the leading Porsche also ran out of fuel on the last lap. The sad thing is in all likelyhood, the Brumos car would have won had the Ruby Tuesday car not given them such a tough race the last few laps.
