Schedule in the works

Postby Dan Chambers on Fri Jul 16, 2004 8:38 am

Mr. Wulff:

We're actually finalizing the schedule as I write this note. We've had a change ... for the better :D .... with the folks at the Q, so I'm trying to figure just how many events the tires :D , brakes  , volunteers  , equipment 8) , and timing team  can handle. Oh darn! Too many dates, not enough rubber!

I'll keep you all posted as I know more.

Dan, 8)

I can't help that notice  that you really like the smiley's. :D :D

So I'm wondering   if it's possible :o :o :o to cross the line :P :P :P :P with too many smiley's.

And, if so,  exactly how many :o :? 8) :D :) is too many? :D :D :D :D :D 8) 8) 8) 8) 8)          :) :) :) :)

Have a great day,

Chris, Dan is just making sure there are not any misunderstandings :( with anything he says. Dan kind of writes his posts like a broadway stage script that has soken lines but also has descriptions of the scene and the mood. :P   :x  :? 8) :o :( :) :D     Just wanted to make sure you knew I was talking about all the possible moods

Chris, I think it is possible to cross the (sometimes invisible) netiquette line. I think you were within the tollerances of that line by about 3 smiley's. Had you gone over that line this software package has been programmed to automagically submit your (real) email address to over 1,000 spammers.

Dan, Gary any closer to posting the fall AX schedule?
Is there enough interest to support another QDE this year?
Any chance of a double lot event? Like this track...

Perhaps run off areas were not considered? That's a long straight leading to the Bud sign on Friars rd.
The infield left turn aimed at the braking zone for the long straight is noteable.

See Schedule Page

All of the autocross dates are posted on the Schedule page. They may not yet be on the Autocross page, but you can find them on the Schedule, scattered among all of the club's other events.

If further changes are in the works as Dan suggests, we'll update the schedule as soon as we're told about them.

Sept 12

Postby gulf911 on Wed Aug 04, 2004 2:56 pm

Hi Mike,
It looks like Sept 12 for your next whoopin...er uh...the next DE in the West lot... Hopefully we can get everyone together in red this time.... :)
Did you see the MR2 club streets of willow info? 25 - 30 car cap, no run groups, go out and run as much as you want, 8 hour event, 180.00 per car. pretty good bang for the buck. :)

Do you know when the pre-registration form is going to be updated to include the Autocross on the 21st?

Or can I just send it in now without that particular event being on it?

Thanks.

QDE sounds like fun.
I had a better time at the recent QDE than at the GAF last year.
I'd like to skip the long drive to Ventura for a car show.
Maybe Gary and Dan can repeat with another great QDE track.

Ohh the red group hook, heard that one before.
If I run my Toyo RA-1s full depth will you guys let me run with you??

Bring whatever you want, but NO SLICKS! I'll do the DE instead of Ventura also. Maybe we can get a track layout similar to the last one?

Anything but slicks Dan?

That's mighty big of you considering you'll be on new Hoosiers!

Streets of Willow and hours of track time....

Don't forget, guys, that the Grand Prix Region is holding our Annual Day Away from Work Autocross at Streets of Willow on October 4. We have averaged about fifty cars and just about 2 hours of track time over each event for only $100.

By the way, we have very few X-cars but Pierre Maucier has whipped butt whenever he shows up in his S-2000.

Registration form at www.pca.org/zone8 on the events page.
