Sorry, both Dan and Curt say the same things so it is difficult to differentiate at times, my bad

Hey, my odds may be improving, Curt has no experience in 944's and if the event is on a Sunday, its no contest

PS Curt, be sure not to go off and mess up the cones for the other drivers...

PSS Dan, after riding in your car, I have been meaning to ask you, how the heck do you know when to shift? Your tach seems to bounce about 4K rpms!

I look at the high and low bounce and average the 2....

Great, I voted for Jad and Kary switches the name...

It appears in the beginning I might be the Underdog, Where's Polly Purebread?

Do you want me to delete this POLL and create a new one so you can vote appropriately?

Before anybody votes, I don't expect to win. My car will have an advantage at an AX. But it should be a blast anyways. I might suggest we ride with each other to help with any idiosyncrasies(sp?) of our cars during the session?

This is at the Streets of Willow TT, right?

Think of the possibilities with a car swap. Two drivers, two cars yields four timed runs. In a 2x2 grid with driver and car model you have on one axis the lowest combined driver time and the other axis lowest combined Porsche model time.

I guess you could determine a winner of who drives each model quickest and if one driver wins both its over, but if each driver prevails once then you go to a tiebreaker like lowest combined driver time.

Forgive the above, its a slow afternoon and the mind wanders.

I suppose I have to agree your car has the advantage at an AX, but realistically, I think we are both far too concerned about hurting someone elses car to really push very hard on a big track. Riding together will be interesting as I THINK my smooth steering will still work in your car, but I expect your steering corrections to do little more than mush around and upset my suspension. We shall see.

Gee and to think this all started cause Curt said 'you can't dispute that the 911 is harder to drive'. At least I proved him wrong, the 911 may be harder to drive, but we certainly can dispute it

Any warm up laps before timed runs? This would be great fun to watch.

Thanks for taking my name out of this poll Kary, Jad and Dan would probably both beat me in my own car.

I have a poll question, who would look better in a race suit like this, Kary, or this guy... :D

I do not think the suspenders are FIA approved plus they really do not do much for my body style with such a long torso

Curt, would you be up for a challenge where we all drive your car and beat the heck out of ya with your own car? I think I'll put up a poll to find out interest

Kary,
I have a fixed race seat that is perfect for someone my height. I don't think anyone else in this club would fit in my car unless Miles Duncan is already approved to run, or unless Gary Coleman, Webster, Mini Me, or any Oompa Loompa's have joined the club lately. :D

Come on Kary, those suspenders are awesome. I think they might help if a corner worker needs to pull you out of the car in a hurry.

I don't leave the track so having to pull me out is not an issue  Then again I guess you don't either because you (and others) were worried about interrupting time runs if you left the track. Jack was smart, this is a good tactic to make sure no one actual drives to their potential!

With the backend planted and not moving around I won't need to move the steering much if at all. But you feel free to hold that wheel steady in my car...
