New Forum is online!

Postby admin on Wed Jun 30, 2004 8:20 am

If you would like to visit the old forum for any reason you can click on the link below.

http://www.pcasdr.org/forum/toast.asp

The old software is still around but is read-only. If you would like to continue conversations started there you will need to copy-and-paste the text into a new conversation here. We apologize for the inconvenience but that is the only way we could get this software up and running as quickly as we did.

Thanks,

The old software is still around but is read-only.

When I go back to the old forum and try to read a message, I get:

There was an error processing your request. Error details below:

Number: -2147467259
Description: Microsoft JET Database Engine
Source: Operation must use an updateable query.
Cause:

Please email the webmaster of this board, and try again later.

What's up? Is the old forum dead and gone now (not that I'll miss it a lot)?

Thx,
TT

Sorry Tom, I got distracted and never got around to looking at this. However, it appears as though whatever the problem was it has been resolved. At least as of 08:11 this AM. ;)

Yah, using MS IE ver. 6. It used to work fine with this browser.

I just fired up Netscape 7.0 and got the same error. I bring up the forum index just fine, click on one of the forum sections, such as "Autocross", and it displays the list of messages OK, but if I try to open a specific message thread, I get the database error message above.

FYI. I tried to log in and got the message above. I like the new format of the website. It looks like a great deal of effort has gone into creating it.

My guess is that the old forum either was removed awhile ago as obsolete, or it is just another item that did not make it to the new website.

What link did you click on to get that error? I just checked the forum and everything seems to be working as expected.
