Does anyone know of any good independant porsche shops in the Temecula area? The closest one I know of is All German Auto in Escondido.

Thanks.

On the pelican parts board I was told there was a decent shop behind the Stater Bros in Temecula so I am going to try to find it today during lunch. I'll let you know if I find anything.

My personal opinion on the guy behind Stater Bros, he seems like Porshce mechanic wanna-be. I would by-pass him. Also, take a close look at his shop, not too very organized.

As far as All German Auto, please email me direct and I will fill you in on my experience with them.

Also, do yourself a favor and stick with a shop that specializes in Porsches only. I learned the hard way and it has been very costly!!!

Went to Temecula, did all sorts of driving around. I found "Toms's Foreign Autohouse." They do lots of imports, japanese and euro, Anyone ever heard of them?

I have a lead on a place in Murrieta that may have an experienced Porsche guy and good machinist. Called something like Millenium Motorsports. The guy who knows about them won't be back till after next week. But when I get the info I'll go check them out. Shoot me an email at sushinav@lycos.com as a reminder and I'll pass on the info. Or if you get anymore info.

If you are looking just for basic servicing like valve adjusts etc., I do all that myself and am willing to help you out if I can. Or if you want to just stop by and drink beer and talk about our cars, give me a call at cel 909 852-2719. Also, I have been to Kravig Engineering in Riverside, about 35 minutes N of Temecula.

Cheers,
Jason
