Fun layout, it has some nice most likely smooth straights too.
The long straight might be easier on brakes with braking slightly uphill and into a semi sweeper.
3 180 degree turns but most appear to be in the mid 2nd gear range as opposed to slower 180 degree turns that bog second.
See ya there.

Which way did he go? Which way did he go?

Unless we get a choice of exits, I am guessing it is a counter-clockwise track with a set of 3 entry lanes on the right side.

The ax is counter clockwise(1 line is start-2 lines finish), the de is clockwise, we will work out the entrance/exit Sunday morning. The 180 corners in the de are more like sweepers and the pavement is smooth. And no swale crossing.
all we need now is a little help Sunday morning.to set the track.

The map we use to draw these things is horrible. It is totally out of scale. Before the next event we will have a better template.

Whew! Make sure you have enough brake pads for that DE course! Check your brake ducting too.
Oh, and I wouldn't pit in the runoff area on the other side of the H4 pole. Looks fast! Should be fun, though. :D
I love DE's at the Murph! Uh, I mean the Q.

Mike,
I'm curious why you made so many changes to the AX track for Sunday. Was there concern about the swale or just an attempt at a different DE layout? I know how much work it is to throw 2 different tracks on a weekend, especially on Sunday when there are 75% fewer drivers to help out.

Are we tempting fate?

Given our 50% rain-out history of Autocrosses this year, should we really be calling this one "Raindance"?
