Patrick Dempsey - Racing Le Mans

The final part of the four 4 series about Patrick Dempsey's race team going to Le Mans is on tomorrow. It has been a decent show. If you haven't seen it, I recommend recording the series as I am sure Velocity will play it numerous times.

Unfortunately I've made the mistake of watching this series with my wife. With all the emphasis they have put on racing being soooo expensive, the dangerous crashes, and the time away from family I really dug myself a deep hole :banghead: . What a mistake! I already knew how the story ended. :roflmao:

Hope to see you guys at the track this weekend. I've been saving up all my brownie points since the Instructor's Day to have this one (maybe last) TT event  .

What was the quote... "to make a small fortune in racing you have to start with a large fortune"?

It has been entertaining though.

Ryan, Racing is expensive! TT's are much more economical and a lot easier on the car and pocketbook. You don't need a crew, multiple sets of tires, spare engines, transmissions or other parts, dedicated race haulers, etc. A racing team will spend more in one day of racing than you will in a year of TT and AX. Just trying to help put it in perspective. :D

Yes, the money you saved by not racing will pay for the TT series :roflmao:
