Carrera GT

I went to Rusnac in Pasadena eyeing GT3's and they happened to have a Carrera GT for sale.

What a car... :D

What a price!

Let's see - you could probably get any combination of 5 GT3's and/or 997's for one Carrera GT.

Ok - so I am just jealous of those who can plunk down a half-mil for a car. I will be much more impressed when one of the owners competes on a track.

I followed one for about 3/4 of a lap at Phoenix. Of course it was the pace car (and I was on the front row  ) so it wasn't hard to keep up :D

Nice sound, and look from the rear anyway...

wierd. video played for me. the original poster of these videos just posted this on another board:

CGT video fixed
If anyone wanted to watch, and couldn't because of the issues with the site... the download speed problem should be fixed (I'm keeping my fingers crossed!).

It seems varying versions of the same videos based upon compression differences are out there. The full monty I saw was like 65 and 50 MBs but have seen versions 15 and 10 ish too.

The track looked really familiar. Was that the infield at Cal. Speedway?

Which one were you Ben?

Probably to the corral on saturday. With Porsche's propensity to deny warranty claims for autocrossing, it's not a good idea for me to do anything else there given PCNA is one of the sponsors even. Too bad though as I'd love to showcase the car's ability.
