That's strange, Kary. I talked to Bryan today and he said he called you back. He even said it was Group 9..... Wires crossed somewhere I guess?
Anyway, I just ordered 2 more Toyos and he gave me great, quick service. The tires were supposed to get shipped out Tuesday and get here on Thursday. I wanted to give myself a little more buffer in the schedule, so I called back and left a message asking how much to overnight them, getting here by Wed.
So what does Bryan, do?! He senses my needs, and squeezes to get them out TODAY, OVERNIGHT, and he pays the extra shipping for overnight! I buy a lot of tires from them and I refer many drivers to them.......and what Bryan did for this customer is why I do it. Great, quick, friendly service. WOW! :D
That helps keep me ahead of schedule in race prep. Right where we want to be.

Tim, yes, he did call after three attempts on my part over many days. I guess the frustrating thing is he apparently was out of town on business but know one at their business bothered to acknowledge this and continue to put me through to his voice mail. Secondly, his voice said nothing about him not being available, and third, could he not pick up his voice mail remotely and return calls?

I am glad you guys obtain good service from him; however, my experience as a vendor trying to supply you guys with product was very poor at best.

See ya at the Speedway.

I had an e-mail back from Bryan @ Chapman and he'll bring my tires with him to Fontana, shaved 2/32 no tax, no shipping :) for 138.00 each for 205/50x15's.
I've never been to Fontana raceway and wanted to know what I need to do to get in, I'm not going to participate in any of the racing, just wanted to come see the event and pick up my tires. I'll be bringing my truck to pick up the tires, unless some one has some extra room for 4 tires. Then I could bring my car :) and take the lunch time touraround the track.
Thanks for any info. or suggestions.

Rick-

If you can't find someone to haul them for you, I think you can just pay the $10 track entry at the Credentials booth and then go find the Toyo truck and load your tires.

Does anyone know if tire mounting is available at the track?

Topless Performance will be there, and they had the tire mounting gear last year, and they mounted/balanced some loose victoracers I had brought with me to the track. They charged a fee for it -- I don't recall exactly how much, but it was nominal. They get pretty busy too, so they were not doing it while you wait. But, within a couple of hours.

Yes Topless, and be careful if you are paying by credit card -- don't let your wife see that.

(Or maybe she will think, "thank God, its only topless girls. I thought he was going to buy another set of tires).

Topless is very good. They come to all the POC events. They do a good job mounting and balancing tires. I beleive they are about $18 a tire. Pretty good given they are right there at the track.
