Great time at Buttonwillow this weekend ... with the exception of breaking my car. :grr: :bigcry: Big thanks to the organizers, the volunteers, the participants, and the support in the pits.

Big thanks to Mark Rondeau for the "loaner" on Saturday. Very generous, Mark. 8)

Also; big thanks to the many folks who helped me drag the car onto the trailer. Thanks, Y'all!!

So: When you hit the gas, and you get a BIG revving sound ... (listen for it just after the front straight  )

Hoping to see everyone at CVR January 18th.

Sorry your car broke Dano. We will look for you at CW in Jan.

We had perfect weather, a fun new track config. (BW#1A CCW) and quite the active social affair each evening. Looking to do a repeat in CW if everyone is game. Congrats to James Buck for ANOTHER TTOD 8) and Mark R for scooping up top BRI again. The Boxster Bros had loads of fun and will be visiting the Keg Room in Jan to pick up some hardware. :burnout:

Dan, Happy to help out. I know you'd do the same. Fun track that took a while to learn. Good tires help as well. Here's my fastest timed lap.

And a big thanks to Dan the Man Chambers for loaning Greg and I his left axle after ours broke in two.
(Since he wasn't using it anymore...)
We would have been on the trailer Saturday night otherwise.

Great bunch of people getting everyone to timed runs and back home if at all possible. :D

It was a wonderful weekend. Great weather. Good challenge to learn the track. The highlight for me was the dinner at the Hocketts's RV. What a festive feast. Thanks Dave and Dan for hosting.

Sorry to see many cars broke. My car had a fuel cut-out problem also, but luckily I was able to finish the timed runs. It always amazes me how you guys get the cars fixed at the track, or have such high spirit even when the weekend ends early. :beerchug:

See you all next year.
