Hi guys!

I happen to have some family that is involved in the German Touring Masters series and we talked about bringing them to Laguna Seca possibly next year or the year after.

So... to garner support, I am curious what the level of interest would be. In Germany the events are very well attended (100k - 200k visitors) and I am hoping we can make it worth to them coming to the US for the very first time, in our backyard!
Below some links to check out the action. Very exciting stuff!

I am just trying to gauge the level of interest, something we could use to bring them over here. Even though the originated in Germany, they do race international these days.

Enjoy!

Has anyone heard of the series? If there is enough interest I am pretty sure we can bring the series over here. Click on the links to get an idea! Currently it is Mercedes, BMW and Audi running in it...
Well Audi is almost Porsche :)
Cheers, Alex

Yes, I've heard of this series. Had hoped to make it to the season opener a few weeks back at Hockenheim, but life prevented it. Still a few more chances this season. Nürburgring would be a great race to get to also. If you can get this series to Laguna that would be awesome. But I'm not sure it would attract the US audience like it does in Europe.

There has been some discussion over the past few years of various groups bringing this series to the US, one of which is NASCAR as I recall. Not sure if it has gained any traction or not but I for one would love to see these in the states, with maybe a US manufacturer jumping in. Porsche needs to come out with a smaller sedan so they can jump in too, here or in Europe.
