sat 3/26 car show/meet - heavy Pcar attendance expected

Postby ben, lj on Sun Mar 20, 2005 8:50 pm

just wanted to remind everyone about the monthly car show/meet at (7:00 AM to appx
8:30 AM):

5620 Paseo Del Norte
Carlsbad, CA 92008

is this weekend. we had 39 the first one, 72 the second one, and are
expecting over 100 this time! anyway, there should be lots of exotics
and a few supercars (including at least one CGT). quite a few pcar owners are coming down from LA/OC as well and this particular meet should be heavily pcar themed.

Ben,
Sounds like a fun event but there is an autoX at the Q that day and that will most likely keep at least several of us away.

I'm not familiar with this. Who puts on the event? Is there a drive afterwards? Any link or info would be great.

No one puts it on really. Everyone just comes out the last Saturday of the month like they do every Saturday up in Newport at Crystal Cove. Many of us San Diegans who sometimes go up for the Newport one thought it would be nice to start one down here too.

Many people (and/or specific car groups - ie: the Elises last time and the Vipers the time before that) go on drives afterwards. Many other people just go about the rest of their Saturday.
